the village of stuarts point
Stuarts Point is a busy little village that swells tenfold in peak holiday season. The Caravan Park fronts the Upper Macleay River which is perfect for smaller kids as the water is quite shallow. A short walk across the bridge takes you to the surf beach which is only patrolled at peak times.
Along with the Club, Stuarts Point hosts a café, supermarket, pharmacy and a local butcher. There is also petrol and diesel at the cafe and supermarket.
The Upper Macleay has great fishing and crabbing and deeper water for even better fishing can found a few kms south at Fishermans Reach.
